Here are some Windows 7 PowerTools that will let you tweak your PC and make it more efficient.
Ultimate Windows Tweaker
Ultimate Windows Tweaker is a freeware Tweak UI Utility for tweaking and optimizing Windows 7 & Windows Vista, 32-bit & 64-bit.  This tweaker program does not require an install. You just run its .exe file.
The tweaker comes with IE9 support that adds some additional tweaks. Its runs on both 32-bit & 64-bit OS versions. It can simply be downloaded and used as a portable application to customize your Windows to meet your requirements. It can make your system faster, more stable, and more secure with just a few mouse clicks.

Be aware though, it is always recommended that you create a system restore point before tweaking your system, and hence an easily accessible button that will let you for creating the same is available in the tweaker. Should you wish or need to, you can always restore your system to the Windows Vista default settings using the Restore Defaults button and applying them.
Note: don’t detach the Empty Icon from the executable’s root, the Empty Icon is copied to system directory and referred in runtime.

Like Windows 7 but do you miss some of the features from earlier operating systems? Here’s good news. Classic Shell brings a collection of software features that were available in older versions of Windows but are removed from Vista and Windows 7. It has a classic start menu for Windows 7, it adds a toolbar for Windows Explorer and it supports a variety of smaller features. And it includes the Classic Explorer.

Here’s what you get. Classic Explorer is a plugin for Windows Explorer that:

• Adds a toolbar to Explorer for some common operations (Go to parent folder, Cut, Copy, Paste, Delete, Properties, Email). Later, more buttons can be added manually.
•  Can display an icon overlay for the shared folders in Windows 7.
•  It replaces the copy UI in Vista and Windows 7 with the more user-friendly “classic” version similar to Windows XP.
•  It handles Alt+Enter in the folder panel of Windows Explorer and shows the properties of the selected folder.
•  It has options for customizing the folder panel to look more like the Windows XP version or to not fade the expand buttons
•  It can show the free disk space and the total file size in the status bar
• It can disable the breadcrumbs in the address bar

This is a great program because it helps you remember that there were other features of the OS that were good and should have been kept.
