T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 arriving in June

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition

T-Mobile is now taking pre-orders for the LTE-enabled version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition tablet. Launching in June, the T-Mobile edition will come with some added perks, especially when compared to tablets launching on rival carriers, like being able to get the 4G LTE hardware for the same price as the Wi-Fi-only version, and also getting 1 GB of free LTE mobile broadband connectivity.

If the S Pen's note-taking capabilities along with the gorgeous 10.1-inch high resolution 2560 x 1600-pixel display is your thing, T-Mobile's pre-order page is now live where you can out your name on the list.

Unlike the Wi-Fi-only edition, the T-Mobile version swaps out Samsung's Exynos ARM-based processor in favor of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz. The move to switch to Qualcomm's quad-core CPU is due to gaining LTE compatibility U.S. networks.

In the U.S., T-Mobile will be joining rival carrier Verizon Wireless in offering the tablet. Verizon's edition costs $600 with a 2-year contract and $700 for the freedom of going contract-free. This makes T-Mobile's $550 asking price which is the same price as the Wi-Fi-only version a lot more attractive with the fact that the UN-Carrier network doesn't require a contract.
