Verizons introducing an entry-level handset today called the LG Lucid 3. For $299.99 off-contract (free if you sign up for one), you get a 4.7-inch 960 x 540 display, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, and Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The last Lucid handset left us impressed with the bang-for-buck value, despite several shortcomings. Odds are we can expect more of that with the LG Lucid 3.
Its easy to get caught up in the latest and greatest, especially with phones like the Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One (M8) and soon Sony Z2 and LG G3 flying around, but theres always a market for those that cant afford the top-of-the-line.
Anybody on a tight budget looking for a new phone? Do you think the LG Lucid 3 will cut it, or is there something else grabbing your eye, like, say, the Moto X? Parties interested in the LG Lucid 3 can hit up Verizon directly.
