The Moto G is now available order from Republic Wireless, the little MVNO that relies heavily on WiFi and VOiP to get things done. Starting at $149, the Moto G is available in 8GB and 16GB flavors. Shipments are expected to start in 1-2 weeks, so there's still a bit of a wait before Republic Wireless customers can get their hands on Motorola's budget-friendly Android smartphone, but that's not really all that much longer.
The Moto G sports a 4.5-inch 1280x720 display over a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8 or 16GB of storage. As this is a Republic Wireless phone, this model carries CDMA radios for connecting to Sprint's network. Thankfully, the low-end price and decent specs come with Android 4.4.2 KitKat, which the Moto G runs surprisingly well.
If you're interested, you can order the Moto G now from Republic Wireless.
