Connecting Linksys Router To An Existing Network

Instructions:
Turn off all devices, namely the computer, a modem and an Internet router and disconnect the power cords from their stores of their respective companies. Connect the computer power and the Linksys router. When the computer is running, and fully loaded, open your Internet browser. Type '192 .168.1.1 '(without the quotes) into the browser address bar and press Enter. Will bring the router's login page asks the user name and password.
Enter the connection information in their respective fields and click the Connect button again or press the Enter key to move to the configuration page. Once you are logged in, you must select the Wireless tab and basic wireless to configure wireless. Give a name for your wireless network (no name of your choice), choose a channel number Wi-Fi to work on, select a network mode and choose to enable Wireless SSID Broadcast, etc.
Select the Security tab and select either wireless security mode. WPA2 Personal or WEP, etc. Enter an alphanumeric key to secure your Wi-Fi against unauthorized access.
