Verizon this morning announced the second generation of the horribly named Casio G'zOne Commando, adding 4G LTE data to the rugged Android smartphone.
It'll be available starting June 27 for $99 on a two-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate.
In addition to the LTE data, the G'zOneCommando sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with 1080p recording, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera and works when you're wearing gloves. It also has the G'zWorld app that records your outdoor activities on a map and track your routes, as well as share your treks. It also has the G'zGear multisensor tool to build a database of the world around you.
