Samsung has teamed up with Spanish airline Iberia to bring boarding passes to the smartwatch. If you're a proud owner of a Samsung Gear 2, the two companies will enable those with a Samsung Galaxy S5 to pair up with the watch and have the pass stored on the wearable device.
This news follows Sony's partnership with Vueling, which is accomplishing the same goal to make it easier for travellers to get around with their smartwatches. We know many are holding off investing in smartwatches, but with more functionality like the above we're sure these devices will begin to appeal to a wider audience.
