Announcing the 'Weekly Photo Contest: Yellow' winners!

We commissioned photo entries that dominantly used the color yellow, and the response was fantastic as always. Dozens of great entries poured into the forums, showing off every shade and interpretation of "yellow."

We have three lovely pictures to look at this week and three prizes to give away read along and see the winning submissions.

We absolutely love the perspective and detail in this picture, drawing your eye directly to the front rows of wheat with the rest fading off smoothly. Yellow is naturally a dominant color here with the hills in the background just providing some contrast. This was taken with a Galaxy S4 great picture.

What an absolutely stunning shot here of yellow ink used for screen printing. The complete lack of uniformity and all of the different lights, shadows and different intensities of color really make this picture pop. Taken with an LG G2 and edited in Snapseed, this was a worthy winner.

The "yellow" nature of this picture is a bit more subtle, but does the job of following the prompt just as well. The warm sunset casting onto these stacked rocks is wonderful, and the additional blur effect in the background helps bring your eye right to the light. Now for the fun part this picture was taken with a Nexus 7. Great one.
