Nokia XL

Almost two months after the launch of the Nokia X, Nokia has announced that the Nokia XL is available for sale in the APAC (Asia Pacific) and IMEA (India, Middle East & Africa) regions. With a 5-inch screen, the Nokia XL is the largest device in the Nokia X family of Android smartphones.

The Nokia XL is targeted at the entry-level segment and will be available for 109 Euros. The device features a 5-inch WVGA screen, a Snapdragon S4 Play (MSM8225) SoC that contains two Cortex A5 cores clocked at 1 GHz and an Adreno 203 GPU, 768MB RAM, 4 GB internal storage with a micro-SD card slot that can accommodate 32 GB of additional storage, a 5 MP camera with autofocus and LED flash and a 2 MP shooter at the front. Nokia has announced that the device will be available in a total of six color variants: Bright Green, Orange, Cyan, Yellow, Black and White.

As far as the connectivity goes, the Nokia XL is rocking dual-SIM (Micro-SIM) slots, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and microUSB 2.0. The smartphone comes with a forked version of Android that uses Nokia's own store in lieu of Google's Play Store.
